Open Mic Night 2018!

Do you have a great act that you’d like to perform on stage? Sign up for Open Mic Night! This annual event is held in the student cafeteria on May 11th from 6:45-10:00 PM. We’re looking for singers, instrumentalists, comedians, and almost anything else that you can think of. Below is the schedule of the rehearsals for the Glenbrook Festival. Please note that these rehearsals are mandatory. Any conflicts should be sent ASAP to Mrs. Nichols (knichols@glenbrook225.org) or Mr. Davidson (cdavidson@glenbrook225.org).

Thursday, March 8 at GBN

Friday, March 9 at GBS (students will take a field trip via school bus)

2018 Glenbrook Festival of Music – 3/11, 3:00PM

On Sunday, March 11th at 3:00PM, the combined choirs of GBN and GBS will present their Festival of Music concert in the Glenbrook South Watson Auditorium. The singers will be accompanied by the Glenbrook Sinfonietta and selected Wind Ensemble members. This annual event showcases the talents of more than 450 student musicians and gives the students an opportunity to perform with live music backup and to work with a well known conductor.  Our guest conductor is Dr. Eduardo Garcia-Novelli, Chair of the Music Department at Carthage College.

CTPO Senior Scholarships

The deadline for Senior Scholarship applications is Friday, May 5th.

Senior students participating in GBN Choir, Theatre and Stage Crew will be selected to receive Scholarships based on their applications and contributions to the GBN Choir, Theatre and/or Stage Crew programs.

Note: This CTPO Scholarship Award is not part of the “local” scholarship application process. Seniors must apply for this Scholarship separately.
