The Winter Concert is coming up on Monday, December 18th, at 7:30PM in the GBN Auditorium. The concert is free and open to the public.
This annual concert will feature songs of the holiday season and include performances by the GBN bands, orchestra and choral groups. The concert will conclude with the tradition of all participants performing “White Christmas.”
All choir participants should meet in the CPA at 6:00PM in their appropriate concert attire.

On Tuesday, October 24th, the GBN Choirs will present their fall concert, Cider & Song. The doors will open at 7:00PM with the concert beginning at 7:30PM. The performance is free and open to the public and will be located in the GBN Auditorium (CPA). The performing groups are:

This year, GBN is hosting the IMEA District 7 Band, Choir, and Orchestra Festival on Saturday, November 11
. This is a huge undertaking, and we will need plenty of help from the students in our department to make it happen. Below, please find a link to sign up as a volunteer for a portion of the festival. Sign-ups are open to ALL students in the Fine Arts department, and each volunteer will receive a free t-shirt to wear on the day of the festival. Tri-M members will receive one service credit for each shift they work, and anyone may sign up for multiple shifts as long as they do not overlap. We’re so excited to get started on another music-filled school year. We have a lot of great music planned, and some other fun activities to start the school year. On the first day of school, the CTPO is hosting a Choir Ice Cream Social after school in the gazebo outside of the orchestra room. All are welcome, so bring a friend.
In other news, all choir members will receive a GBN Choir T-shirt, compliments of the CTPO.

Due to the impending thunderstorm that is supposed to begin early this afternoon, we are moving the Concert in the Park to the GBN Field House. Students should arrive at 12:00 and the concert will begin at 12:30. Please bring chairs or blankets to sit on. See you there!
